Small Budget Artwork!!

Want to add some artwork to your home, but have a very small budget? Here is a great idea... Dig up a photograph you took and blow it up! If you are a Cosco member, it only costs $5.99 per print for a 16" x 20" size. It prints in 2-3 days. If not, I'm sure you can upload it to Kodak or Shutterfly too. Then, go to Michael's because they have 16" x 20" frames for $7.99 each in black or white. So, for $14 buckaroo's you have an awesome, one-of-a-kind piece of art. And, it has meaning. I used a picture from last summer when we traveled to the Bahamas, it turned out great!

Faux Finishes

Ok, it's the middle of the week already... time is flying by! But, next on my blogger 'to do list' was to post a few pictures of faux finishing/decorative painting work, created by a good friend of mine, Kevyn. She is very talented at what she does and below are a few examples. A faux finish can be applied to doors, walls, ceilings, mill work, cabinetry, etc. Decorative painting can be for children's rooms, murals, etc. Think out of the box & keep this in mind!

Pinks & Greens

Printed, nylon carpet products from Shaw are fun & exciting for Spring! I am currently working on a project using the pink cheetah, wall to wall, for a little girl's room. It's going to be SO cute! Pics coming soon. Hope you love it as much as I do..... Happy Friday!
